Gel overlay: what it's all about
Gel is a product that, cured under a lamp, creates a resilient layer over the nail. We use it both for the overlay, which strengthens the natural nail by adding thickness and shine, and for full extensions, when length needs building. It's more structured than plain polish and holds up to everyday knocks without chipping. The finish can be mirror gloss or velvety matte, always with a natural look that's never heavy.

What's the difference between gel and gel polish?+
Gel polish is a thin coloured coat; a gel overlay is more structured, strengthens and can lengthen. In the salon we choose together what you actually need.
Does gel damage the nails?+
No, when applied and removed correctly. Removal is always done in the salon, with care, so the nail doesn't thin.
How long does a gel overlay last?+
On average three to four weeks, then it's renewed with a refill that covers the regrowth.
